Hi! I'm Meg.
Here's the thing... Life moves fast.
I want to slow it down and be in the moments.  Really
BE in the every day moments.
Moments like finding random art on the street. Or the way the light falls on the leaf blowing in the breeze. People being human.
I want to remember my family and friends and our lives on this earth.  But sometimes the memories get lost in all the hustle and bustle of the day to day.
That's what my photos do for me.  They make me FEEL the memories. When I look back at our old family albums I am transported back in space and time to the actual moment happening.
I know the sights, sounds, and smells. I'm drawn back into the memories. Especially the ones I forget to remember.
All this from a photograph.

Them snapping beans from the garden sends memories flooding back of hot summers spent snapping beans and shucking corn with my Nanny and Papa.

I love telling stories about the world around me through my photographs, especially the seemingly mundane daily life of family and love and friends and anything that is real and normal and part of the life we all live.  Even the messy parts we don't want others to see.
Sometimes we forget to let every little memory seep into our souls.
